«Sport and culture are two sectors in which the city of Grosseto is investing heavily - declares Ernesto Croci , president of the organizing committee of Grosseto 2022 -: this is demonstrated by the sporting event that we have organized and the candidacy of Grosseto as capital of culture. Two areas closely linked to well-being but also to the relaunch of tourism. Our area has great potential: we have a strong cultural identity and unique natural resources that make the area usable throughout the year. With conviction and pride, we therefore support Grosseto's candidacy as Capital of Culture: on February 28 in Braga we will present not only the sporting event but also the cultural project that allowed the city to enter the ten finalists for the 2024 Italian Capital of Culture ".
